Interested in exhibiting your original, family-friendly art work in Hemming Plaza?

Review and complete the 2010 online Artist Application. Hard copy applications are no longer accepted. All artists must apply online by the first Friday of the month, one month prior to the Art Walk they would like to attend, for example, to be approved for February's Art Walk, an artist must apply by the first Friday of January.

Each month we book one band to play in Hemming Plaza! If you'd like to be considered, review, complete and submit the Band Application.

Produced by Downtown Vision, Inc., First Wednesday Art Walk is a free, self-guided tour of Downtown Jacksonville's galleries and museums, as well as cultural venues, restaurants and businesses.

Held each month from 5-9 p.m. - rain or shine - the Art Walk spans a 15-block radius within the Downtown core and is the ultimate opportunity to savor Jacksonville's deep pool of creative talent. Some venues close at 8 p.m. Some stay open late.

Street parking is FREE after 6 p.m. and the Downtown Garage on the corner of Adams and Clay offers FREE parking Art Walk night.

February 3, 2010: Ladies Night

Hemming Plaza – Guys, learn the moves to impress your ladies with dancing and lessons by Salsa Caliente from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

The Adrian Pickett Gallery – New location at the Jacksonville Landing – View charcoal portraits and more by artist, Adrian Pickett. Ladies, stop in for a special treat.

Jacksonville Historic Naval Ship Museum – New location at the Jacksonville Landing - U.S. Navy ship models, photographs and former shipboard equipment on display.

MOCA Jacksonville – One of several exhibits, check out: Life as a Legend: Marilyn Monroe, documents the iconic life of America’s favorite sex symbol.

Burrito Gallery – Features works by Overstreet Ducasse, Roosevelt Watson and Adrian Rhodes with a ladies night video installation by Biggie Tea.

Cafe 331 – Presents a burlesque show, fire dancing, live body painting, the history of St. Valentine and more. Chocolate-covered strawberries while supplies last.

The Sinclair – Features haikus and web comics by Haiku Birdie and chances to win Valentine's-themed prizes, including a massage package.

11E – Circa Sixty Three showcases the 'Frontier' collection and hosts a raffle to win an exclusive jewelry package.

The Twisted Martini – Join us for THE OFFICIAL ART WALK AFTER PARTY! Buy one drink and turn in your Art Walk flyer for your second drink free.
