From Jacksonville International Airport (JIA)
Downtown Jacksonville is a 20-minute drive from Jacksonville International Airport. Exit airport onto Airport Exit, which becomes Dixie Clipper Road (FL-102 E) and travel approximately one mile. Take the I-95 South ramp towards Jacksonville. Travel on I-95 south (do not take I-295 by-pass) for approximately 10 miles, looking for Exit #116 - Forsyth Street. Exit right and pass through the first several intersections. Continue to Forsyth Street (last intersection), turn left and head east; this will take you into the heart of Downtown. Turn left on Hogan Street to head towards City Hall, DVI, or Hemming Plaza. Turn right on Laura Street to head to the St Johns River, hotels, Times Union Center for Performing Arts and the Main Street Bridge. Stay on Forsyth for the Tax Collector, Florida Theatre and the library.
From Amtrak
Exit the Amtrak Station eastbound on Clifford Lane. Turn right onto US-1 S (New Kings Road) and travel approximately 4 miles to the I-95 S ramp. Merge onto I-95 S and travel approximately 1 mile to the Union Street exit, #117. Keep left at the fork on the ramp and merge onto Union Street (US-23 S/FL-139 E). Traveling east and turning right (south) on Laura Street will take you into the heart of Downtown.
From the North & South
Downtown Jacksonville is accessible from I-95 North and South at exits Monroe Street #115, Forsyth Street #116, and Church Street #117. Traveling east will take you into the heart of Downtown.
From the West
Downtown Jacksonville is accessible from the west via I-10 E. From I-10 E exit onto I-95 N and exit at Forsyth or Monroe Street. Traveling east will take you into the heart of Downtown.
From the East/Beaches
From Neptune Beach travel westbound on Atlantic Boulevard for 8 miles. Take the Arlington Expressway approximately 8 miles, and cross the Matthews Bridge. Arlington Expressway becomes State Street. From State Street, turn left on any cross street to reach Downtown.
Route A: From Jacksonville Beach/Ponte Vedra area take J. Turner Butler Boulevard west approximately 10 miles until the I-95 north exit. Travel 5 miles on I-95 North to the Prudential Dr./Main St. Exit at Main Street and travel across the Main Street Bridge which will deposit you into Downtown.
Route B: Travel 5 miles on I-95 North to the Prudential Dr./Main St. exit towards Riverside Ave./Mary St. Merge on to the Acosta Expressway and travel across the bridge. Exit at Broad Street, which will put you into Downtown.
From Jacksonville Beach travel approximately 11 miles on Beach Boulevard to the Atlantic Boulevard/Downtown ramp. Merge on to FL-228 W and travel 5 miles across the Hart Bridge. Exit onto the E. Adams Street exit traveling west into the heart of Downtown.
