Haley Tinkle
Haley Tinkle is an award-winning, event planning expert with nearly a decade of experience. Tinkle is the Director of Events at Downtown Vision Inc.: the business improvement district in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. When she first started at Downtown Vision, the organization had one signature event, a fundraiser, and two promotional events. Now, after three years of working with DVI, there are three core events: First Wednesday Art Walk, Third Thursday Sip & Stroll, and Jax River Jams, two fundraisers, the #DTJax Awards and the #DTJax Gala and three new promotional events: Halloweek, Small Business Saturday, and Dashing through Downtown. Tinkle oversees and plan all of the events, from conceptualization to implementation. Her award winning events bring together our city of neighborhoods to enjoy the heartbeat of our city, Downtown.
Prior to Downtown Vision, Haley worked for The Glass Factory and Engine 15 Brewing Company’s Downtown Taproom for two years as their Retail and Events Manager, and prior to that, empowering women with Rethreaded as their Assistant Manager of Business Development. She also owns her own photography business and she and her husband manage a wedding and event venue .
Haley is pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of North Florida. She enjoys spending time with her family and her fur-babies: Apollo, Chandler, Dolly, Gretchen, and Roux.
Haley has a heart for cultivating community. She serves on the board of Ollie’s Global and is on the special events committee for Rethreaded.
