Savanne Giroire
Savanne Giroire is the Marketing Assistant for Downtown Vision. Starting out as the Marketing and Events Intern, one of Savanne’s favorite aspects of DVI is how open, creative and exciting the nonprofits’ initiatives are.
In her position, Savanne primarily aids the Communications Manager with updating Downtown Jacksonville’s website, blog, events calendar and online presence, while learning from the Director of Events on how to curate, promote and manage large scale events such as Sip and Stroll, First Wednesday Art Walk and the Jax River Jams concert series.
Before joining Downtown Jacksonville, Savanne worked as an Ambassador at the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville (MOCA) and is a graduate of the University of North Florida with a Bachelors of Science degree in Communication, with a focus in public relations and a minor in fine arts.
