The Jessie brings together the community and its nonprofits in a setting that appreciates our rich history while responding to the demands of today. Come into The Jessie for a variety of performances, a local vendor marketplace, and idea exchange connected to the current exhibit theme. Along with the support of nonprofits to give awareness to issues affecting social justice.
February Art Walk Highlight:
Shop with local vendors and grab a bite to eat from Food Truck Good Food 24/7. Last chance to check out the Moving the Margins: Artist in Residence exhibit in the Corner Gallery, “Tabono’s Tempo: Standing Room Only”, by Jacksonville based artist Roosevelt Watson III. Enjoy live music by Dr. Doom and Groove Coalition from 6-8 p.m. Enjoy a live performance by the Minds of the Future Boys Dance Team, and a drum circle by Aju Djembe. Find Lol Films Festival Films on Second Floor and the Creeks Rising Exhibit in the Great Hall.
