Whether you need coffee to start your morning off right, or you need an afternoon pick-me-up to get past your midday slump, #DTJax is the place to be. Next time you are looking to get your caffeine fix, check out these coffee shops that not only have delicious drinks, but a great atmosphere too!

The Brick Coffee House

The Brick Coffee House has so many coffee choices, from lattes to cappuccinos to mochas, and more! There are many different syrup and milk options, making each coffee customizable to your taste. You can even add whipped cream! Yum! The Brick Coffee House also has delicious frozen coffees and smoothies which you can enjoy with something off of their breakfast or lunch menu! Learn more

Chamblin’s Uptown

Have you ever seen a bookstore that is also a coffee shop? Well now you have! Chamblin’s Uptown is a place where you can buy, sell and trade books and was voted the number one bookstore in Jacksonville by Hoodline! After you pick up your book, you can grab a coffee for the road, or you can sit and enjoy a nice lunch while you read. Chamblin’s also has free Wifi if you want to do homework or work remotely. Ground Level Coffee

This coffee shop is unlike any other. It is located in the Bank of America building lobby and has high ceilings along with big windows, making it very aesthetically pleasing. Speaking of aesthetically pleasing, their coffee options are so beautiful, you’ll want to snap a picture before you take your first sip! Urban Grind

Urban Grind is back and better than ever! The coffee shop was closed due to COVID-19, but has reopened under new ownership making sure that it is a safe environment for customers to enjoy. There are baked goods, breakfast and lunch options available. Sometimes you may even see some live music in their outdoor patio! If you like unique drink flavors like lavender mint or blackberry matcha, Urban Grind is for you. You can also get a latte or a regular coffee if that’s more your style. Learn more 

Mag’s Cafe

Mag’s Cafe is a great place to stop for a quick bite, and of course some coffee! There is plenty of outdoor seating where you can enjoy the view of #DTJax and get some fresh air while staying safe. This French bistro has breakfast, lunch and baked good options. Mag’s also has a kid’s menu, making this a very family friendly option. Some of the coffee drinks that are available are espresso drinks, cappuccinos, lattes, or plain coffee. Headroom Coffee Bar

If you are looking for a late night buzz, swing by Headroom Coffee Bar for coffee and a snack. This coffee bar is open from 4 p.m.-12 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Whether you like your coffee iced or hot, Headroom has you covered. Enjoy your drink while listening to live music from local musicians who perform on the outdoor patio.
