Road and Lane Closures

Acosta Bridge
Daytime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Daytime southbound off-ramp closed Friday and October 16 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for bridge maintenance. Daytime northbound ramp closure Tuesday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for bridge maintenance. Follow detour.

I-10 from Hammond Boulevard to Stockton Street
Nighttime lane closures Sunday through Friday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for road work.

I-95 from Emerson Street to Adams Street and I-10 westbound
Nighttime road closure Wednesday through Friday from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Follow detour.

I-95 from Forest Street to Park Street 
Nighttime southbound lane closures Monday And Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for bridge construction.

I-95 at I-10
Nighttime southbound ramp closure Tuesday through Thursday from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. for overpass construction. Follow detour.

I-95 from Park Street to Stockton Street
Nighttime northbound ramp closures Monday and Tuesday from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for overpass construction. Follow detour.

I-95 from Union Street to Stockton Street
Nighttime southbound road closure Tuesday, Friday and October 24 from 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. for overpass construction. Follow detour.

Acosta Railroad Bridge Closure

Temporary Deviation Florida East Coast Railway (FECR) is authorized to temporarily deviate from drawbridge operation regulation, 33 CFR 117.325(b) that governs the FEC St Johns River (Acosta) Railroad Bridge across the St. Johns River, mile 24.9 at Jacksonville, Florida. Under this temporary deviation, FEC is authorized to operate the FEC St. Johns River Railroad Bridge during the designated times and under the following conditions:

  • From September 27, 2021 through November 3, 2021
  • Each week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the bridge will be allowed to remain closed to navigation from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 12 p.m. to 4p.m.
  • At all other times, the bridge will operate in accordance with 33 CFR 117.325(b)
