Nighttime on-ramp closure Monday from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for overpass construction. Follow detour.

Nighttime lane closures Sunday through Friday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for road work.

I-10 at I-95
Nighttime ramp closures Tuesday through Thursday from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. for overpass construction. Follow detour.

I-95 from Emerson Street to I-10 westbound 
Nighttime road closure Wednesday through Friday from 10:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for bridge construction. Follow detour.

I-95 from Forest Street to Park Street
Nighttime northbound lane closures Monday through Saturday from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. and nighttime southbound off-ramp lane closures Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for bridge construction.

Florida Georgia Weekend

Expect congestion in Downtown Jacksonville today through Sunday due to the annual Florida vs. Georgia football game and related events.

Florida Georgia 5K Road closures
Daytime road closures on the following streets Saturday: Independent Drive from Hogan Street to Laura Street from 7-10 a.m.; Hogan Street from Water Street to the Riverwalk from 7-10 a.m.; Water Street from Hogan Street to Broad Street/Riverside Avenue northbound off ramp from 8-9:30 a.m.; Water Street exit of northbound Riverside Avenue off ramp from 8-9:30 a.m.; Riverside Avenue (northbound lanes only) from Water Street to Forest Street from 8-9:30 a.m.; Riverside Avenue from Forest Street to Lancaster Street from 8:05-8:45 a.m.

Acosta Railroad Bridge Closure

Temporary Deviation Florida East Coast Railway (FECR) is authorized to temporarily deviate from drawbridge operation regulation, 33 CFR 117.325(b) that governs the FEC St Johns River (Acosta) Railroad Bridge across the St. Johns River, mile 24.9 at Jacksonville, Florida. Under this temporary deviation, FEC is authorized to operate the FEC St. Johns River Railroad Bridge during the designated times and under the following conditions:

  • From September 27, 2021 through November 3, 2021
  • Each week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the bridge will be allowed to remain closed to navigation from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 12 p.m. to 4p.m.
  • At all other times, the bridge will operate in accordance with 33 CFR 117.325(b)

First Wednesday Art Walk

The November First Wednesday Art Walk will take place this Wednesday, November 3rd. Visitors are invited to bring family, friends and coworkers for a self-guided tour of Downtown’s Northbank core on the first Wednesday of every month. Explore three major hubs: James Weldon Johnson ParkThe Jessie (duPont Center) and The Breezeway at VyStar Tower, and all the businesses and public art between. Art Walk runs 5-9 p.m., rain or shine.
