Downtown Vision, Inc. is thrilled City Council recently approved funding for the Downtown Retail Enhancement Program. The Downtown Investment Authority (DIA) will hold a workshop to discuss the application process and terms of the program. Workshop details:

The Downtown Retail Enhancement Program is intended to facilitate occupancy of vacant storefronts in the Northbank Core Business District, depicted on the map below.
A total of $750,000 is available for costs associated with renovating or preparing a commercial space for occupancy. Projects must have a total project cost more than $10,000 to be eligible for funding. The maximum award allowed is $20 per square foot but cannot exceed 50 percent of total improvement costs. Funding will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
