#DTJax Awards: Manifest Distilling, Small Business of the Year

Left to Right: Jake Gordon, David Cohen, Jim Webb, Numa Saisselin

The Small Business of the Year Award recognizes a street-level retailer who has enhanced the Downtown experience for everyone living, working and visiting #DTJax. Manifest Distilling, a local full-scale organic distillery in the Sports & Entertainment District of Downtown, has done just that.

Manifest has gone above and beyond this past year by not only continuing to produce incredible spirits, but by formally providing for those in need. Manifest produced and distributed over 5,00 gallons of hand-sanitizer in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The production of the sanitizer not only helped local municipalities and medical institutions, but also kept their staff employed and busy.

Over the past 5 years, Manifest has grown tremendously. While currently being distributed in 7 different states and Canada, we would have to say that Manifest is doing something right. On top of their remarkable growth, Manifest continues to be a strong advocate and donor to local non-profits including: Florida Theatre, MOSH, Downtown Vision and the Cultural Council.

Congratulations Manifest and thank you, David and the whole Manifest team, for your passion around both creating and giving. Your impact on the city is something that will not be forgotten.
