11/26 | The Piano Guys: Christmas Together — Florida Theatre

Back by popular audience demand, The Piano Guys unite traditional Christmas, classical and pop music for their new holiday show Christmas Together.  Christmas Together, the group’s latest holiday album, debuted at #8 on the Billboard album chart, and features the songs “What Child Is This,” “Mary Did You Know,” “Ode to Joy to the World,” and more. 7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.”

12/5 | Holiday at St. James — City Hall at St. James

“Celebrate the holidays at the Holiday at St. James Celebration and Tree Lighting. The free event will feature live entertainment, holiday treats and more fun for the family! “Community Nutcracker is the only nonprofit, volunteer-run organization that offers a portion of its proceeds to local charitable agencies with each performance and has donated over $600,000 in the past 25 years! The performing company is made up of local talent with more than 200 dancers from Northeast Florida auditioning and performing in the production. 12/13 | AIGA Toy Show — Intuition Ale Works

“Do you remember your favorite childhood toy? Gone (perhaps) but not forgotten. Toys are about imagination and imagination is the first tool of all artists and designers. So sharpen up your tool, tap into your inner child and create a custom toy!  For our December C&C, AIGA Jacksonville will be hosting a Toy Show – an event in which both AIGA members and non-members are invited to build a toy from scratch that will be displayed throughout the night. Attendees can vote on their favorite toy, and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.  Choose an existing toy and take it to another level, paint a blank vinyl toy, sew a toy, or build one out of wood – anything that makes the toy a creation unique to you.  If you’re interested in submitting a toy, please register on our Eventbrite link. “The Toy Train Collectors of Jacksonville are hosting a special motorized holiday train display in the Learning Lab at MOSH. The holiday train display will feature volunteer operators available to engage visitors about trains, engineering and model building. The trains will be rotated throughout the day as they travel through a winter wonderland! During normal operating hours.”

“After forming in 2010 at Indiana University, The Main Squeeze began selling out clubs to frenzied college students in just a few short months. Downtown Jacksonville is the place to be this New Year’s Eve and The Jacksonville Landing is where to celebrate and ring in 2019! The New Year’s Eve Celebration will feature live music, food, drink specials and fireworks! This event is FREE! Say goodbye to 2018 and hello to 2019 with this free event featuring live music, good times, great food, drink specials and FIREWORKS!

12/31 | City of Jacksonville New Year’s Eve Fireworks — St. Johns River Downtown

“Say goodbye to 2018 and ring in the New Year at midnight with a spectacular fireworks display over the St. Johns River. Make your way down to the waterfront with friends or family before midnight to snag a great seat for the festivities. Fireworks will begin exactly at midnight. This year fireworks will be launched from a barge on the St. Johns River between the Hyatt and Double Tree hotels and high above the St. Johns River from the Acosta Bridge. These locations are able to be viewed from both the North and South banks in Downtown Jacksonville in addition to viewing from Brooklyn and under the Fuller Warren Bridge where the Riverside Arts Market is held.”
