Laura Street Trio Incentive Plan Moves to Council
The mayor’s budget review committee approved sending legislation for $24.7 million in city funding for the Laura Street Trio project to the City Council. The project will include 140 hotel rooms, 21,000 square feet of restaurant and lounge space and 8,000 square feet of retail space. Learn more.
Activating Jacksonville’s Riverfront
The Jessie Ball duPont Fund is helping to convene a series of conversations about how best to activate our city’s downtown waterfront for the benefit of all of our residents and visitors. 1st Downtown Jacksonville: The Future of the Shipyards
1st DownTown Jacksonville is a platform created to help communicate, advocate and unite supporters who share the same passion for Downtown. Riverfront Plaza Design Competition
The three final design firms pitched their concepts to the Downtown Investment Authority and are seeking public feedback. If you weren’t able to watch the presentations, you can view them online through the City of Jacksonville’s procurement website.

Bold Matsuri is an annual Anime and Cosplay Festival that is held in Jacksonville, Florida. Their convention will feature many events and activities during the convention for attendees to take part in such as meeting their favorite guest, participating in guest panels, contests, a gaming area, and cosplay/anime focused after-hour events.
