Local Artists Wanted for Sculpture Opportunity 

Florida Blue and The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville present a sculpture opportunity exclusively for artists from the Greater Northeast Florida region. With a budget of $75,000 – this request for proposals asks for a sketch or rendering of an artist’s concept. Learn more.

Crack the Case with FSCJ Artist Series

FSCJ Artist Series is bringing the Art Heist Experience to #DTJax April 13-May 2. This is a true crime outdoor walking show where socially distanced groups move through five walkable locations nearby the Times-Union Center in Jacksonville to gather clues. Learn more.


Scooters in Downtown Jacksonville

The City of Jacksonville launched a one-year pilot program for e-scooters. Locals and visitors alike can rent and ride electric scooters via smartphone applications including Blue Duck, Helbiz, LINK and SPIN, paying $1 to activate the scooter and approximately $.30 per minute.

The Dockless Mobility Zone boundary encompasses much of the central core, extending east to TIAA Bank Field and west to the Duval County Courthouse. Scooters can be rented and dropped off 24/7 at 35 designated, geofenced corrals. Learn more.

Save the dates for the Jax River Jams Concert Series Presented by VyStar Credit Union. The series will run Thursdays April 8-29 at the scenic Riverfront Plaza (former site of the Jacksonville Landing). Enjoy country, rock/alternative and Hip Hop jams from national headliners and local openers, plus a Small Business & Artist Market and local food and drink favorites. ⁣This outdoor event will be held in accordance with CDC guidelines.
