This summer, MOCA is offering a summer camp fto bring out the creativity in your child. Kids will explore gallery exhibits, create art in the studios and learn through practice. MOCA will offer weekly sessions from June 6 through August 5. Learn More.

Bicentennial Celebration
in #DTJax!

June 11, 2022 will mark Jacksonville’s 200th year as a city! The Jacksonville Historical Society and partners have planned a day full of celebration which includes an opening ceremony, parade, street vendors, food trucks, concert, fireworks and more, all free to the public. Learn More.

Bank of America Tower

The 42-story Bank of America Tower at 50 N. Laura St. is set for an interior face-lift that, along with other upgrades, could add additional retail to the first floor and a restaurant space. Improvements will begin this summer. Learn More.

Cathedral Commons 

JWB Real Estate Capital filed a request with the Downtown Development Review Board for conceptual design approval of a 175-unit, 18-building apartment community in the Cathedral District. The board is expected to vote May 12 on the conceptual designs. Learn More.

The Den

Investors are moving forward with a plan to invest $55 million to rehabilitate two historic buildings and connect two new structures to create a 184-unit, mixed-use apartment development in Downtown’s North Core neighborhood. Learn More.

Columbia Ventures LLC plans to build a five-story, 341-unit mixed-use apartment development in Brooklyn. The project will include restaurant and retail spaces and a 428-space parking garage. Learn More.

A faith-based concert and exhibition open to all citizens of the Jacksonville community. The goal is to create a unified environment that will recognize and heighten awareness of this monumental event in African American history, both culturally and spiritually.
