DVI Updates
United We Rock! @ Downtown Art Walk is here!
You’ve seen the signs and ads for weeks, but now First Wednesday Art Walk is finally here! This month we are celebrating with a United We Rock community concert, sponsored by United Way of Northeast Florida. Kick off the night with live music starting at 5 p.m. on the Hemming Park main stage with Gov Club. United Way of Northeast Florida‘s community concert celebration begins at 7 p.m. with the Old Patróns, a band of local business leaders. Following the Old Patróns, local favorite and concert headliner The Band Be Easy will perform at 8 p.m.Browse through local art, eat delicious food by all of your favorite food trucks and restaurants, and explore the 60 participating businesses in #DTJax.
Browse through Laura Street and celebrate National Tourism Week with Visit Jacksonville. Enjoy live mural painting, ticket raffles, local artists and more. Don’t forget to hang out at the Front Porch at Art Walk at the Jacksonville Landing and then check out Art Walk After Darkin The Elbow!

The “Let’s Put Our Cities on the Map” campaign is an initiative created by Google with the singular focus of getting local business info online and on the map. 20,260 businesses in Jacksonville are on the map already, but there is more work to do. There are multiple workshops in #DTJax to help small businesses:

Jazz Fest After Dark in the Core:
There is a lot of excitement surrounding this year’s Jacksonville Jazz Festival, and rightly so since it’s back in the core of #DTJax! The fun does not end with Jazz Fest, as there is Jazz Fest After Dark with ten stages, over 60 acts and all for free. Make sure to check out the website for more information and the full line-up.
