The Florida Times-Union is introducing a new quarterly magazine on Downtown in June titled “J.” As part of this project, the editorial page staff is compiling a group of readers in an Email Group for Downtown. These readers will be asked questions that relate to Downtown. There is no obligation, just a chance to sound off on Downtown issues. If you would like to join the group, please email Editorial Page Editor Mike Clark: mike.clark@jacksonville.com. He will send you a questionnaire. Public Meeting Notice: Brooklyn Neighborhood Road Diet StudyThe Riverside Avenue, Forest Street and Park Street Road Diet study currently being undertaken by POND on behalf of the Downtown Investment Authority will be presented for public comment following the June 1, 2017 meeting of the Downtown Development Review Board. The purpose of this initial public workshop is to allow for the public, stakeholders, and other interested parties an opportunity to comment and influence the POND’s ongoing Road Diet efforts. The workshop will begin at 4:00PM or immediately following the regular agenda of the Downtown Development Review Board.
