Downtown Vision, Inc. released an 18-month summary on the state and growth of Downtown Jacksonville. This report provides details on development successes and announcements, office and employment trends, residential growth, retail mix, arts and culture, tourism, transportation and more. This past year:
- Our Downtown Clean & Safe Ambassadors logged 22,000 hours to make DTJax clean and Downtown a better place safe.
- Our produced events drew more than 200,000 people to DTJax creating lively streets and supporting our small businesses.
- The #DTJax hashtag reach exceeded 24 million people reinforcing Downtown as the City’s unique epicenter for business, history, culture and entertainment.
- And, our 2015 State of Downtown Report provided developers, investors and realtors with a holistic broad view on the health of DTJax progress occurring in Downtown Jacksonville.
- We also implemented a number of special projects this year, ranging from the Downtown Parklet Program to the inaugural DTJax Gala celebrating Downtown to The Elbow Entertainment District Marketing Co-Operative.
