“Laura’s Flower” is installed in front of Visit Jacksonville 

Over the weekend, Gus & Lena Ocamposilva’s sculpture “Laura’s Flower” was installed at the corner of Laura and Forsyth Streets. The 20-foot aluminum pieces each weigh 900lbs. The piece was brought to #DTJax by Farah and Farah in partnership with the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville.

Saturday, November 14th is MOCA Family Day 2020, a safe and inspired afternoon in #DTJax with fun activities for the whole family! See MOCA’s new exhibition, Project Atrium: Carl Joe Williams and enjoy live music with The Lyricist LIVE and DJ EnerJi. This event is free and open to the public. Hooray for Halloweek!

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in our first ever Halloweek! It was a spooky success!

Thank you to Live Oak Contracting for sponsoring our Jack O’Landing movie night! 
We had a hauntingly good time watching Hocus Pocus on the Landing Lawn for our Jack O’Landing Movie Night. Over 400 people were in attendance and stayed safe and happy in their socially distanced magic squares. Special thanks to Sun-Ray CinemaAVL Productions, the City of Jacksonville and Visit Jacksonville for making this event possible.
