 DVI Updates

Oktoberfest at Art Walk a huge success!

This year Oktoberfest at Art Walk celebrated the American Planning Association’s Great Streets, which named Laura Street one of the top five great streets in America, and welcoming 25,000 people to the heart of Downtown to a street party for the ages.

A tremendous shout out and danke shön to our emcee Curtis Dvorak, Dan Witucki and Mein Heimatland Muksikanten Band, One Step Ahead of the Law Brass Band, DJ Ego Killers and all of our amazing and talented artists and performers. Likewise, to Mayor Lenny Curry and Bold City Brewery for tapping the tasty, refreshing keg. And of course, to The Elbow for an epic #ArtWalkAfterDark. You know how to put on a great party!

Another tremendous shout out and danke shön to our sponsors who make it happen: PRI Productions, Jacksonville Landing and Sleiman Enterprises, VyStar Credit Union, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Chamblin’s Uptown, BB&T, EverBank, CSX, Auld & White Contructors, LLC, Connect Agency, Gunster, Folio Weekly, Amason’s, Elite Parking. And danke shön to Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Jim Webb and the awesome people with Republic National Distributing Company, Lisa Goodrich and Southeast Group, the #DTJax Ambassadors, volunteers, interns, board and staff. Without all of you Oktoberfest at Art Walk wouldn’t have been possible!
