DVI Updates


Trick or Treat on the Street & Halloween in Hemming Park
Be sure to put the finishing details on your costume in time for DVI’s third annual Trick or Treat on the Street this Friday, Oct. 30. Over 17 locations will be handing out candy, coupons, and other goodies spanning from the Landing to Sweet Pete’s. Trick or treat with your coworkers or bring your children Downtown for this delicious event. Download your map here.

DVI’s Stakeholder Meeting

Join us on Tuesday, Nov. 3 for DVI’s quarterly Stakeholder Meeting. In addition to updates from DVI, the Downtown Investment Authority and Friends of Hemming Park, Dave Herrell, the City’s Director of Sports and Entertainment will present information on upcoming City events and programs. The meeting will be held at 8:30 a.m. in the Ed Ball 1st Floor Training Room, 214 N. Hogan Street.

Downtown Vision Inc.’s Inaugural Gala

Come and celebrate Downtown at DVI’s Urban Oasis Gala Saturday, March 19, 2016! There will be cocktails, dining and dancing – with live music by the Chris Thomas Band – and live and silent auctions all leading up to the Downtown awards. All proceeds from the gala will benefit the Downtown Parklet Program. Khaki and safari attire encouraged. The gala will last from 6:00-10:30 p.m. and take place at the Jacksonville Bank Building, 9th Floor, 100 N. Laura Street. Register today.

DVI is hiring a Policy, Research & Communications Manager
Work closely with DVI’s CEO, Director of Marketing and Director of District Services to oversee DVI’s online presence, track, manage and analyze data and help prepare a range of research reports about Downtown Jacksonville. Submit your application and cover letter to katherine@dtjax.org.
