DVI Updates
#ProstDTJax! Oktoberfest @ Art Walk returns tomorrow, Oct. 7- Special celebration of an exciting Laura Street recognition (American Planning Association “Great Street”) at 5:30 p.m. with local and national urban-planning leaders
- Tapping of the keg ceremony at 6 p.m. with Mayor Lenny Curry, Bold City Brewery and host Curtis Dvorak
- Authentic biergarten with a variety of German beers, plus $1 off beer if you bring your own stein (up to 16 ounces)
- Two stages of Oompah bands: Dan Witucki & The Heimat Musikanten Band in Hemming Park and One Step Ahead of the Law Brass Band at The Jacksonville Landing
- Kinderfest zone, carnival zone and Food Truck Village for all ages along Laura Street from Monroe Street to The Landing
- Special programming at The Landing, including two stages of live music, free pumpkin patch, hay rolling, a German Shepherd meet-up, German-themed food and craft beer
- Ticketed VIP tent ($35 per person) with unlimited beers and food provided by Burrito Gallery next to Hemming Park’s main stage
- Kick off of Art Walk After Dark in The Elbow from 9 p.m. to late.
