Join us for Halloweek, a five-day celebration of all things spooky in Downtown Jacksonville. All week, we will host a Halloween Hunt

  • Download the Eventzee app and create an account. Use the join code Halloweek to get started.
  • Scan QR codes at 10 different participating businesses 10/26-10/30, first 100 participants will receive a $20 #DTJax e-Gift Card.
  • Participate in the Selfie Challenges to enter to win additional prizes!

Then, on Thursday October 29th, Live Oak Contracting presents Jack O’Landing, a Movie Screening featuring Hocus Pocus at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. The movie night is currently sold out, but you can join the waitlist.

Visit Jacksonville Opens New Location on Laura Street

Visit Jacksonville’s new location at 100 N. Laura St building is officially open! Pop into the visitor’s center to say Hello and refer Jacksonville visitors to their tourism experts. Stay tuned this week for an art installation in partnership with the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville.

Save the Date: Virtual MOCA Kids Art Lab

MOCA Kids Art Lab is an online workshop for artists ages 5 to 12. MOCA recognizes your child’s need for arts education during this time, so they are offering these live lessons on the second Saturday of each month! In November’s live lesson, museum educator Lindsay Bowyer will cover Nancy Graves, an artist currently displayed in their Jacqueline Holmes exhibition, and wax resist watercoloring! Learn more.

Virtual Black Leadership Town Hall
October 30 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Jacksonville’s Top Black leaders will discuss their personal journey to the top of the business and their thoughts on today’s trending topics. This will be a live and interactive session where attendees can chat with the moderator and pose questions to the executive speakers.

Jumbo Shrimp Fall Festival
October 31 from 12-4 p.m.

Fall is in the air in Northeast Florida and the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are unveiling their Fall Festival, complete with trick-or-treating and several contests designed to be fun for the entire family.
