#DTJax Weekly Update: September 1-7, 2020

Instagram of the Week

Tonight at 9:00 p.m., Downtown Jacksonville’s venues including the historic Florida Theatre, and the City of Jacksonville’s ASM Global managed venues, will be lit red as part of a nationwide call to action by the live entertainment industry. “Red Alert” is an effort to keep the need for continued relief for the live entertainment industry front and center on the agenda of the US Congress.

You can do your part to spread awareness by going to SaveOurStages.com and sending a letter to your US Senators and US Representative, using the hashtags #SAVEOURSTAGES and #RedAlertRESTART on social media, lighting your own residence or business red in a show of solidarity, or using a red filter on a social media image.
