Author: Alexa Andino, Downtown Vision Marketing and Events Intern

Are you still gift hunting for friends and family? Do you want to explore and support #DTJax’s local businesses this holiday season? Downtown Vision’s staff shares their top picks on gift ideas to make your holiday shopping season simple and fun!

Staff Picks For Local Holiday Gift Ideas:

Jake Gordon, CEO, picks adopting a seat at the historic Florida Theatre as a meaningful gift that creates a lasting legacy. Adopt-a-Seat provides a beautiful brass commemorative plaque, engraved with your name or to honor a relative, friend, or organization of your choice that will remain on the seat for its lifetime. Do you want to include tickets to a show with your gift? Check out our blog on the remaining Florida Theatre events for this year!

Additionally, a stop at The Bread and Board Provisions is a must. Be sure to pick up some locally made Florida honey from Bee Friends Farm. Local honey is the best and does wonders in hot tea when it is cold and chilly outside. Overall, The Bread and Board have an amazing range of local and hand-crafted gifts for all of your loved ones!

Bonus Tip: If you want to make the holiday season even more special, Jake recommends sharing a Cinnamon Roll Brûlée at Cowford Chophouse. Cowford has amazing rooftop dining that provides stunning views of #DTJax.
