Halloweek in #DTJax

Author: Alexandra LaRocque, Downtown Vision Marketing and Events Assistant

Spooky season in #DTJax has come and gone, but we can’t seem to stop reminiscing on Halloweek. With COVID-19 putting a damper on our typical Trick-or-Treat in the streets, we had to adjust our plans to make the fun safe — and Halloweek was born! A week long event of socially-distanced fun and adventure leading up to Jack O’ Landing and of course, Halloween!

We gathered on The Landing Lawn for a night of spells and witches as we watched Hocus Pocus underneath the stars. With endless candy and delicious food trucks, it was truly an evening to remember.

Local businesses right here in #DTJax joined in on the hauntingly good time by decorating their stores and windows to get into the holiday spirit. We loved seeing everyone’s unique decor and hope you did too — they were definitely pumpkin to talk about!

If you missed Halloweek this year don’t freight we are already looking forward to next October — boo there or boo square.
