Evil Dead: The Musical

The 5 and Dime Theatre

October 13th, 14th, 16th, 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th

Presented by The 5 & Dime, Vanity Furs and Jacksonville Chiropractic & Acupuncture, Evil Dead: The Musical promises to be a gory, good time. This hilarious live stage show takes all of the elements of the cult classic films, The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness and combines them. Add amazing music and great choreography, and you’ve got a fun night in #DTJax!

1904’s Oktoberfest

1904 Music Hall

October 14th

The iconic #DTJax music venue is bringing in, not one, but two of south Florida’s premier jam bands! The Groove Orient and Come Back Alice are coming to Jacksonville to bring us one monster of a Saturday night.

Harry Potter Symphony

Time’s Union Center for Performing Arts 

October 14th 

Watch the wand choose the wizard, the proper way to swish-and-flick and the giant, three-headed dog as the Jacksonville Symphony performs John Williams’ famous score live. Songs include Hedwig’s Theme, The Great Hall Fanfare, Harry’s Wondrous World, Nimbus 2000 and much more.

Wizarding Masquerade Ball

Hourglass Pub

Dust off your wands and broomsticks! The Hourglass Pub presents A Night at the Leaky CauldronA Wizarding Masquerade Ball. For the fourth year in a row, Hourglass promises a night full of good drinks and good, Harry Potter themed fun. Monsters in Space

Museum of Science and History

Should we be afraid of what’s lurking in space? The Museum of Science and History has an entire evening dedicated to answering that very question! Enjoy the hour-long, live demonstration as they discuss the unknown depths of space and the creatures within it.

Supernatural Sleepover

Museum of Science and History 

October 20th

Enjoy an overnight excursion into the unknown at the Museum of Science and History. The evening will begin with a variety of creepy cocktails, followed by a buffet provided by Taco Lu. The rest of the evening is filled with bone chilling activities, including a spooky scavenger hunt and a tour that tells the haunting history of Jacksonville.

Rocky Horror Picture Show

Get ready to enjoy all of the comedy, burlesque and drag in the tribute to Richard O’Brien’s masterpiece, The Rocky Horror Show! Dogtastic HOWL-o-Ween Bash

The Jacksonville Landing

The HOWL-o-Ween Bash presented by Yappy Hour, will feature a pet expo, giveaways, live music, and a Halloween costume contest! Categories include most original costume, scariest costume, best owner and dog duo, cutest costume and best costume overall. This is a free event, open to all dog lovers.
