Whether you go for the football, the tailgate or the Cabana pools, there is nothing like spending a Sunday in #DTJax during football season. In preparation of the upcoming home games, we have put together some tricks and tips we have gathered through the years of cheering on our guys in black and teal so you all can experience game day like a local!

Tailgate the Right Way: In The Elbow
If you’ve gone out in #DTJax before, you were most likely in The Elbow, Downtown’s Entertainment District. The Elbow bar and restaurant owners, being true locals themselves, are big Jags fans and are offering something special this year. The Elbow, Downtown Vision, Inc. and the Jacksonville Jaguars are joining forces for The Elbow Tailgate, a game-day package providing fans special ticket pricing for 2016 Jaguars home games, plus drink specials before and after home games. Just present your ticket stub for a discounted drink special! Here are the places to go before and after each game:

Manifest Distillery Tailgate Packs

Manifest Distillery‘s grand opening is Sunday, September 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Manifest is offering bottles of the potato vodka and mixers, as well as various Manifest-branded merchandise for purchase. Up the ante and purchase one of Manifest’s cocktail kits which include everything that tailgaters need to mix the perfect cocktail! The tailgate kit offerings include: vodka tonic, vodka ginger, vodka Collins, vodka with imported Italian sodas, Bloody Mary or vodka and Conagree & Penn’s shrub. Kits range from $45 to $55 and make about 12 drinks.
What could be more local than tailgating with locally distilled vodka?
JTA’s Gameday Xpress
The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) offers a convenient Gameday Xpress service on all Jaguar home game days. The buses run to and from the stadium from several Downtown locations. Xpress service begins two hours prior to kickoff and ends one hour after the game. Season Gameday Xpress pass holders receive savings of up to 20% off the cost of buying individual game Gameday Xpress passes. Here’s a list of the Downtown lots:
The Landing, load on Hogan St across from The Landing | *Only for special bowl games*
The Convention Center lot will use the ramp area that is located at the north end of the stadium. This pickup and drop-off area is located on the stadium property between gates 2 and 3. All other Gameday Xpress users will be dropped off at lot B. This lot is located east of the stadium across Haines Street between gates 3 and 4.
Online purchases are available via JTA eCommerce website or mobile purchases are available on JTA’s user-friendly MyJTA app.
Stadium Rules & Things to Do

With extra security and new additions to EverBank Field, we have compiled a few key rules and our favorite aspects of stadium festivities:
Bag Policy: No one wants to be that person that has to walk back to the car, so remember EverBank’s bag Photo Credit: jaguars.com policy is hand-sized clutch or a clear, 12″x 6″x 12″ bag.
Bike Racks: Bike safely over from The Elbow for an even quicker trip to the stadium! Bike racks are available between Gates 2 and 3, with bike valet in front of Gate 1.
Family-Fun: Bring the whole family to the family-fun zone located in Section 227!
Party Zone: Opposite of the family-fun zone, head to the Bud Light Party Zone in the South End Zone of EverBank Field which is open two hours prior to kick-off.
Fan Entertainment Zone: Presented by PRI Productions and located on the east plaza level, the Fan Entertainment Zone is where fans can experience food, fun and football three hours prior to kick-off.
FanDuelVille: Open to all ticket holders, FanDuelVille is located in the North End Zone of the stadium and opens two hours prior to kickoff for all fans. FanDuelVille features live entertainment including DJs and live music, unique food and beverage offerings and the most exceptional game day experience in all of sports. The post-game party carries on up to 2 hours after most games.
Poolside: Stay cool during these blazing summer days poolside! The Jaguars Cabanas offer a full-service, premium experience right outside the South End Zone. Learn more here about booking one for you and 20 of your closest friends.
