Each year Downtown Vision evaluates the state of Downtown Jacksonville and collects data on how to improve the Downtown experience. If you live or work in #DTJax (Northbank, Southbank, Brooklyn/Riverside Avenue, LaVilla or the Stadium District) we want to hear from you.
Respondents will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 gift certificate to the Downtown restaurant or retailer of their choice. A winner will be selected in early 2018 and contacted via the email provided.

Downtown Vision announces 2018 #DTJax Award Winners
The #DTJax Awards recognize community leaders who work to create a vibrant environment, who support economic revitalization efforts through the activation of underutilized resources, job creation, or leading design practices, and who continually reinforce Downtown as the premier center for arts, dining, retail, entertainment, business and/or urban living in Northeast Florida. Please join us in celebrating these award winners on February 17th at our #DTJax Gala: Vintage Circus.

 

Warm Welcome to Cynthia Ray, our new Social Services Outreach Specialist
The focus of the Outreach Specialist is to connect with individuals who are in need of social services who reside in the Business Improvement District boundaries and to gather more data to help remove “barriers to entry” for those who are on the streets. Cynthia has a degree in Business Administration and Marketing with a Master’s in clinical psychology and is a licensed counselor in the state of Florida. She has worked in both corporate America in sales and marketing as well as social services as a case manager and a therapist. We are very excited to have her on our team!

It’s an exciting time for Downtown Jacksonville. Since the beginning of 2016, Downtown has seen more than $80 million in completed development projects, such as the Winston Family YMCA and Daily’s Place Amphitheater. More than $2 billion in projects are currently under construction or proposed.
