The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)
The MOCA is a great stop if you’re looking for a place to cool down and experience beautiful contemporary art. With six diverse art galleries, there is art for everyone. Make sure to see exhibitions such as Project Atrium: Chiharu Shiota before it leaves at the end of June. The MOCA hosts new events each week and kids’ art camps all summer long.
The Museum of Science and History (MOSH)
The MOSH is a great place to experience science, history and innovation. No matter your age, the MOSH offers something for everyone. The museum has summer events such as kids camps, cosmic concerts and more!
The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens
If you’re looking for an inspiring art experience, then check out Northeast Florida’s largest fine art museum, the Cummer. The museum currently has exhibitions such as Jacksonville’s Norman Studios and Frieseke In Florida: Memories of Jacksonville in the 1880s. If you don’t mind the heat, then also make sure to explore its historic gardens!
The Florida Theatre
