Looking to spice up your Instagram feed? You have come to the right place. Don’t settle for plain boring backdrops when you can use the beautiful city of #DTJax! Here are some of the best places for your next picture perfect moments!

Sweet Pete’s and the #DTJax Sign

Satisfy your sweet tooth at Sweet Pete’s Candy off Hogan Street (400 N. Hogan Street)! Here you can find many photo walls to stand in front of including the ones pictured above. Everything in the store is candy and sweets themed! With Valentine’s Day around the corner, this is a perfect spot for a V-Day shoot! On your way out, make sure to check out the famous sign outside of Sweet Pete’s, and use the hashtag #DTJax as the sign says.

If you are someone who loves art, you have to check out the murals in #DTJax! There are so many different artists who create beautiful masterpieces that brighten up the city! The mural on the left was created by Youri Mantra and is located at 41 Duval Street, and the mural on the right was created by Andrew Antonaccio and is located at 229 N. Hogan Street. There are so many more dispersed all around the city, so grab a friend and check them out!

James Weldon Johnson Park

The giant mouth at James Weldon Johnson Park is a jaw-dropping #DTJax landmark that you can’t miss! This abstract piece is something fun and different to add to your Instagram. It is very family friendly and a great photo op for all ages! This is something that will put a smile on anyone’s face.

Friendship Fountain

The name speaks for itself! Stop by one of your favorite restaurants in #DTJax for takeout, and go have a picnic at Friendship Fountain with your bestie. Be sure to get a picture with your favorite meal and your favorite person. The view of the city in the background makes the picture even better!

Main Street Bridge

The bright blue Main Street Bridge adds a scenic element to any picture! From day to night, this is the perfect spot for anyone who visits #DTJax! You can even have a photoshoot on the bridge and have pictures taken from so many different angles. The opportunities are endless!

 

Cowford Chophouse Rooftop

We love a rooftop moment! Cowford Chophouse is the best place to go for a date night and take cute candids with your significant other! There is plenty of outdoor seating which overlooks the city. Cowford also has delicious food and cocktails, for anyone who 21 and up, which taste as amazing as they look in pictures!

Downtown Riverwalk

The Downtown Riverwalk is a great place to stay active and get some fresh air! There are plenty of places to take some photos along the way. From the tall buildings to the colorful walkways, #DTJax is a great place to brighten up your pictures. The lock bridge is another great backdrop, find it right underneath the Acosta Bridge, next to Corkscrew Park. The Downtown Riverwalk is kid and pet friendly making it an activity for the whole family to enjoy!
