About the 2023 8th Annual #DTJax Gala: Tumble Out of Bed and Stumble to the #DTJax Gala on February 24th, 2023. Throw on them Tight Fittin’ Jeans, and get ready to Boot, Scoot & Boogie to celebrate Downtown Jacksonville!

Lounge in the Retro RV Park while throwing one back from The Sangria Truck or earn your 8 seconds of fame on the #DTJax Mechanical Bull. Dance to the sweet sounds of Dean Winter and the Heat on the outdoor dance floor or boogie down to DJ Mouth of the South inside. Enjoy the legendary DTJax bars with local beer and spirits, heavy appetizers from DTJax restaurants, a Chic Booth photo booth, a silent auction and complimentary valet.

Slip into your sequin-spangled duds, fringed finery, cowboy boots and hats to hoot and holler as we raise funds for placemaking in DTJax!

About PlacemakingJax

Proceeds from the #DTJax Gala benefit the PlacemakingJax placemaking initiative to turn passive spaces into active public places. PlacemakingJax is a highly collaborative process for the people of Jacksonville (Jaxsons) to engage in the creation of pop-up activations or large-scale interventions in Downtown Jacksonville to transform underused public spaces into celebrated community places. PlacemakingJax is facilitated by Downtown Vision and funded in part by the #DTJax Gala held each February.

During our 2020 Gala, we created an installation of our vision for our outdoor dining space on Hogan Street and in 2021 the Patio on Hogan was completed. Thank you for helping us bring our vision to life!
