WJCT Public Media will host its seventh annual Be My Neighbor Day, a free family-friendly event open to the public. In the tradition of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and the new generation of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, the festival is about sharing with families how to be a caring neighbor.  Guests will have the opportunity to meet new neighbors from JSO, the Early Learning Coalition, Blue Star Families, Jacksonville Humane Society and many more as well as engage in fun and educational activities, such as:

• Decorate placemats to share with residents at Almost Home DayBreak.
• Meet a community helper and learn how you can help too.
• Make a bookmark for yourself and for someone learning to read at Literacy Alliance of Northeast Florida.
• Make a special Thank You for a helper.

Tickets are free, but spaces are limited and can be reserved by signing up at wjct.org/events.
