Find out more »Join artist and teacher, William McMahan, in MOCA's 5th floor studio for figure drawing the last Friday of every month. This life drawing workshop is designed for artists of all levels of experience. General proportions will be introduced initially, along with key anatomical landmarks. A focus will be placed on creating dynamic figures, with gesture drawings being demonstrated and practiced. During longer poses, artists will be encouraged to work from initially placing joints and being mindful of bone structure, before building general shapes on top of the bones. Intentionally considering different levels of finish will also be a focus of this workshop.
