EL GRAN COMBO: 60TH ANNIVERSARY WORLD TOUR 2022
The Grammy award-winning group El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico is coming to the Florida Theatre on Friday July 15, 2022. Few musical groups have endured half a century maintaining their rhythmic identity unchanged, overcoming the pushes of the record industry and resisting the vicissitudes of consumer culture as El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico has done. Since its foundation, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico cultivates an important space in our Puerto Rican and Antillean songbook, standing out as one of the few musical institutions that assume the social and historical representation of the development of our melodic modernity, transiting with vigor through the interpretation of rhythms such as bomba, guaracha, merengue, boogaloo, jala-jala, bolero, tango and, of course, salsa.

El grupo ganador del Grammy El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico llega al Florida Theatre el viernes 15 de julio de 2022. Pocas agrupaciones musicales han aguantado medio siglo manteniendo inalterada su identidad rítmica, superando los embates de la industria discográfica y resistiendo las vicisitudes de la cultura de consumo como lo ha hecho El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico.
