Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, will host the Hyatt Heroes Community Day on Saturday, July 24. The free, family-friendly event will honor local first responders and celebrate local businesses and nonprofit organizations.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees will receive a complimentary raffle ticket with a chance to win multiple prizes, and the first 100 people to arrive at the event will receive complimentary Hyatt Swag Bags. Validated parking will be provided at Hyatt Regency Jacksonville’s Newnan Street parking garage, and children 12 years and younger will eat free with complimentary fresh popcorn, Hyatt Hot Dogs, and Chef Craig’s Signature Peanut Butter Balls.
Hyatt Heroes Community Day will feature meet and greets with local first responders including the local SWAT team, mounted units, K9 units, and tour vehicles from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
The event will also provide pop-up shops from Tough Guy Cookies, Living Beauty Florals, and Splendid Works of Art. Local food trucks including Latin Soul Grille, Brochacho’s Fusion Tacos, and Gurlies Lemonade & Sweets will also be set-up on-site. Local nonprofit organizations including the Trinity Rescue Mission and the Sulzbacher Center, will be on-site with information on their philanthropic work in the city.
Families can also enjoy face paintings, a selfie station, and outside games and music throughout the day.
