Please join us on Wednesday, November 10, for the Jacksonville Historical Society’s 2021 Annual Members Meeting. The event begins at 6 p.m. with light hors d’oeuvres, wine, and beer, at Old St. Andrew’s Church, 317 A. Philip Randolph. The meeting will include a presentation by Dr. Alan J. Bliss, CEO, about Jacksonville’s upcoming bicentennial. Current members will be asked to ratify board appointments made during the current board year and elect any nominees for board service beginning in January 2022.

Every year, according to the bylaws of the Jacksonville Historical Society, a meeting of the members is held at which a quorum of 25 persons or 33% of the membership (whichever is less) is required. Membership in the Jacksonville Historical Society, Inc. is open to any person who agrees to be bound by the Articles of Incorporation, the Bylaws, and any rules and regulations which the Board of Directors may from time to time adopt, and who has paid his or her annual dues.
