We Have the WRITE to Our Futures Writing Contest and Celebration
Contest submissions accepted between June 13 and July 20. August 12 event free and open to the public
In partnership with 904WARD and JaxbyJax Literary Arts Festival, The Jessie invites writers, poets and spoken word artists to present work that reflects on 200 years of Jacksonville history and envisions the next 100 years through the lens of diversity and inclusion.

The public event on August 12 will feature a live announcement of contest winners, followed by readings from winning authors and spoken word performers, with food, drinks and more.
