Singer-songwriter Judy Collins is esteemed for her imaginative interpretations of traditional and contemporary folk standards and her own poetically poignant original
compositions. Her GRAMMY-winning versions of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides, Now” and Stephen Sondheim’s “Send in the Clowns,” are classics, and she has enjoyed further success with her recordings of “Someday Soon,” “Chelsea Morning,” “Amazing Grace” and “Cook with Honey.”
An iconic figure in folk music, Arlo Guthrie has been known to generations as a prolific songwriter, social commentator, master storyteller, actor and activist. Arlo is well-known for his classic tune, “The Alice’s Restaurant Massacree,” an 18-minute-long satirical talking blues song, as well as his Top 40 hit “The City of New Orleans” and his song “Massachusetts,” which was named the official folk song of his home state.
