The Jacksonville Naval Museum invites the media and public to attend a press conference in honor of the USS Orleck opening to the public. The most decorated Gearing Class Destroyer will be the centerpiece of the Jacksonville Naval Museum with tours featuring the ship’s bridge, combat information center, division commander’s stateroom, galley, wardroom and mess decks for guests to explore. During Friday’s event, guests will get to hear from a member of the Orleck family, Jacksonville Naval Museum and have the opportunity to explore everything the USS Orleck has to offer.

The USS Orleck will officially open to the public on Wednesday, September 28, and will be open Wednesdays through Sundays.
