Strides for Pride is a 5K run/walk with a 1M fun run/walk on SUNDAY, 4/23/23 at our new location — Northbank Riverwalk Artist Square (in the RAM space under the Fuller Warren Bridge). It will be a LIVE EVENT once again to benefit LGBTQIA+ teens and young adults at JASMYN, a Five Points neighborhood safe place for more than 28 years. Registration pricing is tiered and available up to and including race day. We’re moving to a new day at a new venue and we can’t wait to share it with you as we welcome our community for a family-friendly morning of fun and rainbows.

Everyone who registers gets a race shirt and a medal, and the first 150 chipped runners to cross the finish line get a limited edition Strides ’23 hat!

Plus, JASMYN will award Largest Running Team, Best Individual Fundraiser, and Largest GSA Running Team!

Race Rankings, Including Age & Gender Categories:

Back by popular demand, we will be reintroducing race rankings and recognition for age categories, and each will have Top 3 Female/Male/Nonbinary rankings as well as Top 3 Overall. If you wish to be included in race rankings, please designate a gender during registration. This will be used solely for the purpose of race rankings and otherwise, it can remain unchecked if you wish. Please understand that if gender’s not checked, we cannot include the participant in the rankings.

While bragging rights will be your prize for placement, you will get to have a photo made with a special sign you can hold for your category, and photos will be downloadable after the event.

Strides Streaker Recognition:

If you have participated in all 11 Strides races and will be taking part this year as well, you are a Strides Streaker! Once we verify your participation, you will receive a special prize each year that you return, including this one.

Rainbow Runner Recognition:

Starting with our 2022 5K, JASMYN will track runners/walkers who register 3 years consecutively. So 2024 will be the first year anyone who has participated in 3 Strides consecutively will get a special t-shirt upgrade in a color that signifies your commitment to LGBTQIA+ teens and young adults at JASMYN. At year 10, you will also get a special gift to honor your ongoing support of JASMYN.
