Welcome to Downtown Ecumenical Services Council, or DESC for short! We seek to proclaim the love of Jesus Christ by providing basic needs for those in emergency situations. While we provide short-term relief of food, clothing and more for families and individuals, we often find that stopping to listen to our neighbors is just as important. It lifts the soul. It reinforces that those in need are valued.
