Poetry: Luminaries and Rising Stars
A poetry reading featuring a lineup of some of Jacksonville’s most exciting voices. Hosted by Mark Ari, poetry brings together current luminaries and rising stars whose work represents the broad but distinctive flavor that makes Jacksonville’s poetry scene one of the nation’s most vital: Yvette Angelique (accompanied by Kinney Harold, Tiffany Melanson, Alisha Lockley, and Rashad Hawkins.

We will also be holding our monthly Made @ MOCA class, our free dynamic drop-in art class designed for creators of all ages, skill levels, and abilities.

In the interest of the health and safety of museum staff and guests, beginning Tuesday, September 14 visitation requires a pre-booked time slot through Eventbrite. The museum galleries are filled with stunning exhibitions and during your visit MOCA Ambassadors will be available to answer questions you might have.
