Placemaking is all about creating and activating key locations in the urban core for people to participate and engage in. An artistic style basketball court in downtown Jacksonville is yet another way to connect people of all ages to the energy that is vibrating throughout our downtown area. The Nassau Pride ABA Basketball Team would like to bring local athletes downtown to play. Upon completion of the court, the Pride would like to host a “Basketball Showcase” as a launch/unveiling event for the basketball court. This event will be open to the community, filled with family fun entertainment.
